Dr. Lo received his medical undergraduate (MB. BCh.) and postgraduate (MRCP & MD) training in the United Kingdom. He started as a Senior Medical Officer in Cardiology in 1986 and became a specialist Cardiology Registrar in 1990 in several teaching hospitals in London, including the Westminster Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and the Royal Brompton National Heart Hospital. In 1995, he was appointed Consultant Cardiologist to the London Chest Hospital and the Harley Street Private Clinic in London.
He had worked at the Mayo Clinic and University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in U.S.A. He was invited, as a Visiting Consultant, to teach interventional cardiology in Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and China. |

His training in London covered all aspects of adult Cardiology. He holds a Proficiency Certificate in Echocardiography from the British Society of Echocardiography. He pioneered the introduction of Endovascular Reconstruction Therapy for Aortic Aneurysm and Dissection in Penang. |
